Odemira is served by regional bus service connecting it to other towns in the region and beyond. There is also a daily bus service connecting it with Lisbon. The bus station is a short walk from the house. From the nearby town of Funchera (30 min van Odemira), trains leave for Lisbon and Faro a few times a day, but getting a rental car is by far the best option so you can truly explore the area and get the most out of your stay in Alentejo.

Both Lisbon and Faro have several rental car companies, and provide very good free maps or even GPS which will be very sufficient for finding your way around.
